The article discusses the problems of refraction and its impact on levelling at the interface of optical environments. It describes the influence of a vertical refraction and shows the results of investigating the effect of the refraction in the course of levelling at the interface of optical environments.
The results of the experiment were obtained by levelling through the building of the National Technical Library in Prague Dejvice.
