At present, there is an increasing demand for the Investment casting technology. It is necessary to ensure their dimensional accuracy as well as internal quality and their desired macrostructure and microstructure. This paper deals with the issue of filling ceramic shells and their influence on the occurrence of oxide inclusions. The aim is to compare several proposed ceramic systems with top and bottom filling of a shell consisting of 4 blades and a gating system in terms of turbulence and monitoring of the contact line between the melt and the surrounded air.Downloads
