LIPOSOMES—THEIR CHARACTERIZATION, PREPARATION AND EMBEDDING INTO NANOFIBERS. Liposomes are sealed vesicles composed of lipid bilayers, suitable for drug delivery. Main purpose of this paper is a review on liposomes, their properties, characterization ane preparation. In addition, a possibility of embedding liposomes into nanofibers is discussed. This drug delivery system has a promising potential for future applications in the field of regenerative medicine.
